Looking Back, Moving Forward

Dr. Sean Areias (Head of School) highlighted what he has learned about ISL Qatar since his arrival at a special virtual parent forum. During the first semester, he observed and listened to student, parent and staff feedback. Dr. Sean Areias shared our strengths, identified goal focus areas, and highlighted next steps based on an analysis of these learnings. During the event, parents had the opportunity to ask questions and offer additional feedback.

“It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to speak to the parent community today. Although we wish we could do this in person, there are advantages to doing this online…I'm really excited to be able to present about what I've learned during my time here at ISL Qatar and engage with you in conversation about the future.

When I arrived here in August and even before that, I began the journey of exploring and learning about ISL Qatar. Much like a sociologist or anthropologist, I have been learning the about the organization, the school culture, the history, the different processes and procedures that are in place,” said the Head of School at the beginning of the event.”
