At ISL Qatar, we believe that meaningful engagement is essential for learning, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging. When students, staff, and families are engaged, they participate more fully, build stronger connections, take greater ownership, and contribute positively to our community. 

For this reason, our annual thematic goal for the 2026-27 school year is: 

Strengthen Engagement for All 

This goal is closely aligned with our Strategic Plan 2026-29 and serves as our school-wide focus for the year ahead. While our strategic plan provides long-term direction, the annual thematic goal helps us concentrate our collective efforts on the actions that will have the greatest impact this year. By strengthening engagement across all aspects of school life, we will advance the strategic priorities that support learning, wellbeing, belonging, and community partnership while continuing to bring our Mission and Vision to life. 

To support this goal, we will focus on six defining objectives: 

1. Design learning that sustains engagement and ensures access for all. 
2. Build strong relationships that promote wellbeing and connection. 
3. Improve active participation and contribution to our community. 
4. Turn feedback into visible action and impact. 
5. Increase ownership and accountability. 
6. Deepen community partnerships. 

Together, these objectives will help ensure that engagement is reflected not only in our classrooms, but also in our relationships, decision-making, partnerships, and daily experiences across the school. Through this shared commitment, we will continue strengthening a community where every learner is engaged, every voice matters, and every member has opportunities to contribute, grow, and thrive.
