Greetings and a warm welcome to the International School of London Qatar Admissions. We are glad that you're considering us for your child/ren’s educational journey. We are happy to help you gain a better understanding of our school, our programmes, and our vibrant community.
The International School of London (ISL) Qatar is an independent, international, IB World School committed to providing a rigorous education to a diverse and multi-cultural student body representing over 75 nationalities. At ISL Qatar we pride ourselves by being the only school in Qatar to offer an integrated Mother Tongue Programmes in over ten languages. We recognize the need of our young learners to closely identify and understand their roots, hence, our community responded by fostering a curriculum designed based on their requirements.
In addition, ISL Qatar is authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization as an IB World School to offer Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) to ages 3 to 18. We are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).

1. Book a campus visit or an online meeting
We warmly invite you to visit ISL Qatar in person. During your visit, you will get the chance to see our facilities, meet our Admissions Team, and experience ISL Qatar’s unique atmosphere.

2. Submit an online application
ISL Qatar has an online application process. To submit an application, you will be required to create an Open Apply Account by providing a personal email address and a password. Before submitting an application, please refer to our Admissions Policy.
3. Evaluation and Assessment
Completed applications will be reviewed by our admissions team and your child/ren will be invited for an entry assessment.
Early years (Early Childhood 1, Early Childhood 2 and Kindergarten)
- The assessment is an observation of the child’s social interaction and play.
Grades 1 to 5
- All students should undergo a one-on-one assessment with a grade-level teacher in both Math and English.
Middle and High School (Grades 6 to 12)
Applicants are required to take an online standardised test and participate in an online interview with the Head of Section.
Academic acceptance will be determined based on the combined data from the assessments, as well as information from school or nursery reports, confidential teacher recommendations, and interviews.
The review process may take up to 7 school days. If your child’s application is successful, you will receive the official acceptance via email, with instructions on completing the registration process and securing their place. If we have reached our maximum capacity in a grade level approved candidates are placed in a waiting pool.

Upon confirmation, we will ask for further documentation to comply with the Ministry of Education requirements.
