Relocation and transitions are an intrinsic part of international schools. Terms such as "Global Nomad" or "Third Culture Kids" have been introduced in research and publications to reflect the nature of internationally mobile families. At the International School of London in Qatar, a Transition Program has been introduced to cater for the needs of our mobile communities. All members of the school community are involved in one form or another. The ISL Qatar administration, teachers, the Parents Teachers Association and students play an integral role in catering for the needs of students, parents and teachers and helping throughout all stages of their transition.
