ISL Qatar Grade 12 Art students, Mila and Pruthvi, shared with Grade 4, different perspectives, styles and preferences at the moment of creating Art. Pruthvi, prefers a more conventional and conservative style, while Mila prefers a traditional and historical style. Sometimes, both perspectives could be a source of conflict, but despite the differences, they understand each other’s point of view and respect their personal choices. Our grade 4 enjoyed this session, where they learned about art styles, art movements and could appreciate grade 12 students’ art pieces.
The interdisciplinary session ties with studying the Conflict and Resolution Unit, which focuses on the importance of understanding other people’s opinion, find a resolution that benefits both parts and keep a commitment to the resolution.
