The International School of London (ISL) Qatar hosted its sixth annual Winter Carnival over the weekend at the school’s campus. With more than 1000 visitors to the ISL Qatar campus from the whole community, it was an enjoyable afternoon filled with musical performances, arts and crafts, activities for children and adults and a line-up of delicious savouries.

The crowd enjoyed performances by the talented choir of ISL Qatar as well as a Magic Show that captivated the students’ attention.

The vendor market included more than 50 vendors selling arts, crafts and accessories, who contributed to making this ISL Qatar Winter Carnival the most successful thus far. The ISL Qatar’s Student Council also organized several activities for the visitors, including a FIFA tournament, henna, face painting, cookie decorating and games.

Visitors enjoyed delicious food from restaurants around Qatar that filled the school’s atrium such as Dairy Queen, Bombocrep, Nature’s Treasures, Mama Rozie, Mezza, Bait Jeddi, Deema Community Centre and Saima Foods.

The Winter Carnival also had many exciting activities from Museum of Illusions, Adventure Rooms, Geek Express, Maison De Sushi and Ceramique Café.

As part of the ISL Qatar focus on charitable activities, the proceeds of the Winter Carnival were donated to ISL Qatar’s charitable actions. Perfection Multiservice supported the event by sponsoring the event.

“The Winter Carnival is a wonderful event that brings the community together to enjoy a great afternoon for a good cause. It is one of our values to focus on charitable activities and we try to encourage the development of these values in our students. We look forward to welcoming the community to our future events.” said David Monk, Head of School.
