ISL Qatar Hosts World Scholar's Cup Doha Round 2020

ISL Qatar once again hosted the Doha Regional Round of the World Scholar's Cup led by our Grade 11 students. ISL Qatar's 21 teams competed in 4 events with students from 10 schools in Doha. Three events were played in our campus on Friday, 28 February while and continued at QNCC on Saturday. 

ISL Qatar once again hosted the Doha Regional Round of the World Scholar's Cup led by our Grade 11 students. ISL Qatar's 21 teams competed in 4 events with students from 10 schools in Doha. Three events were played in our campus on Friday, 28 February while and continued at QNCC on Saturday. 

Our 21 teams took home 242 medals and won 11 trophies. Raed Asad (G11) won the Asimov Award, an award given to a scholar who excelled in all subjects. Juan Jose Azpurua (G7) was declared the School Top Scholar for the Junior Division while Sebastian Santoni for the Senior Division. The overall 1st Place in the Senior category was awarded to Team 656 composed of Raseel Al Thawadi, Putu Narayanan, and Sebastian Santoni making them qualify for the Global Round.
