On Tuesday, 26 November 2019, the ISL Qatar U19 Boys Football team travelled to Oryx International School (OIS) for their 5th game of the QUESS Schools league. The boys were keen to bounce back from last week disappointment and that is exactly what they did!

ISL Qatar started well and pinned Oryx into their own half of the pitch. The team's dominance paid off when Fabian Escobar riffled home a low shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net. ISL Qatar failed to push on and add to the score line in the first half and went in just 1 goal up at the break.

The second half was much of the same with Oryx pinned in their half. Fabian netted his 2nd goal of the game and made it 2-0 with 15 minutes left to play.  Allan Gomez and Jimmy Daher where proving too much for the Oryx midfield, the duo combining well to allow Allan to find the net to send ISL Qatar 3 goals clear.

There was still time left on the clock for one more goal, Niels Kerkvliet skipped past two Oryx defenders before slipping a ball across to Muhammad Ziyad who was today letting his feet do the talking and found the net with a precise finish to the Oryx net. ISL with a comfortable 4 goal winning margin.

Next up for the boys is their last league game of the season, they will take on Compass International School on Wednesday, 4 December, kick off 2:30pm at ISL Qatar.
